Terms of use

These terms are between you and Olena Shevchuk, the developer of SnippyText ("we"), and cover the SnippyText software. By downloading or using the software you agree to them.

1. Free trial

For 14 days after the first launch you may use every feature for free. After that a license is required to keep using the software.

2. License

A license gives you a perpetual, non-exclusive right to use the software on as many computers at a time as you chose when buying (at least 2). A 2-computer license is for one person; a license for more computers may be used by the employees of one company or the members of one household. The key is activated on a computer over the internet, and you can switch computers yourself at any time in the program's License window. You may not share with outsiders, resell or publish your license key. After a refund the key stops working.

A license includes free updates within the major version it was bought for (for example, all 1.x versions).

3. Restrictions

You may not decompile, modify or circumvent the software's protection, or distribute modified copies.

4. Payment

Orders are processed by our reseller, who acts as the merchant of record and issues the invoice. Its payment terms apply in addition to these.

5. No warranty

The software is provided "as is". We work hard to make it reliable but do not warrant that it is error-free or fit for any particular purpose. Please back up your snippets regularly (the software can do this automatically).

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always published on this page.
